Field of Application
Weather-resistant façade paint for smooth and structured renders, sandlime brick finishes, brickwork, mineral surfaces, and as a renovation paint for EWI systems.
Composition
Water-dilutable, silicone resin based mat façade paint with special adhesive additives.
Colours
Standard white. Granosil´color is available in all the colours in our colour range. On EWI systems do not use colours with a brightness value lower than 20.
Colour variations from samples and test pieces in finished surfaces are possible due to the use of natural basic materials and weather conditions during the drying process. With subsequent deliveries mix the rest of the remaining material with the new delivery to avoid colour differences.

Characteristics
Highly vapour permeable, weather-resistant according to DIN 18363, very highly water-repellent, does not attract soiling, resistant to atmospheric influences, mould resistant, non-bleeding, non-film forming, stress-free, environmentally friendly, non-thermoplastic and UV-resistant.

Preparation substrate
The surface must be flat, stable, clean and dry. First remove and repair loose parts.

Application
Granosil´color can be applied both manually or with suitable spraying equipment.
Equipment and tools must be immediately cleaned with water after use.
Stir thoroughly before use.
Prime, depending on the surface, with Granol'plus IG or Granol'plus W
1st coat with Granosil'color, diluted up to 10% with water
Top coat with Granosil'color, diluted up to 5% with water
The façade must be protected against torrential rain and too fast drying. Direct sunlight and wind require appropriate measures such as the protecting of the façade or the scaffolding. Do not apply with surface and/or ambient temperatures below + 5°C.
Carefully cover windows, window sills and suchlike.

Packaging
Packed in 10 l buckets.

Remarks
The mixing of hardeners and additives is not allowed.
Disposal
Only present completely empty packaging for recycling. Dried material residues can be treated as hardened paints or household refuse, liquid material residues can be processed as water-based paint waste.
