INTEGRITY LINE – WHISTLEBLOWERS

To promote transparency in our behavior and integrity in the way we conduct our business, we encourage a culture of open communication, where employees can report any suspicious behavior to their superiors. Reporting a suspected violation is the duty of all employees, and this is encouraged by management.
However, certain circumstances may require some matters to be reported via a confidential internal reporting channel.

To ensure that all employees have the tools, resources, and information necessary to always make the right decisions, the Group launched the Holcim Integrity Line in 2014. This is a global advisory and ethics reporting system that complements our existing guidance and reporting mechanisms.

Since December 2023, an additional internal reporting channel has been introduced in Belgium following the implementation of the new Belgian whistleblower law. In this context, an additional directive ("Whistleblower Policy") has been specifically established for Belgium. It outlines, among other things, the types of violations that can be reported through this local reporting channel. The list of reportable infractions is slightly longer than that included in the global Holcim Group whistleblower policy.

To report issues or ask questions, you have access to both the Holcim Integrity Line (with a secure phone line and a web-based ethics advisory and reporting system, supported by an independent consultant), as well as a dedicated email address and phone number for whistleblowing within Belgium.

Additionally, as of July 1, 2024, third parties (independent contractors, shareholders, and members of the administration, management, or supervisory bodies, volunteers and interns, people working under the supervision and direction of (sub-)contractors and suppliers) are also able to use the Belgian whistleblower regulations.

The Integrity Line platform and the national procedure give you the option to make an anonymous report, although we encourage you to identify yourself if possible. You will never have to fear retaliation when making a report in good faith.
