Acquisition of Holcim Dry Mortars BV

2009 -

Presentation of our new site.

2007 -

Acquisitor of Egid sas in the West of France, producing external plasters.

2005 -

Adding of the Chaux de Wasselonne product group.

2004 -

Change of the Cantillana logo.

2004 -

Founding of Cantillana Silomix.

2002 -

Acquisition of German company Granol-Strasser, which has been producing high quality mortars and plasters for over 100 years.

2001 -

Cantillana acquires Steultherm Germany.

2001 -

Activities split into bulk and bagged goods. Cantillana continues the entire bagged goods activity.

1993 -

Activities begun in the Netherlands under the Cantillana brand name.

1992 -

Acquisition of the Mauer group (France), specializing in façade plastering systems.

1990 -

50% shareholding taken by the Obourg group.

1982 -

Cantillana is acquired by the Stadsbader group, that has operated since 1946 in roadbuilding and traditional building.

1979 -

Cantillana brings the first silo-packed bricklaying mortars onto the market.

1970 -

Cantillana introduces the first plastering machines onto the market.

1963 -

Development and sales of the "Cement'in" range of cement plasters.

1962 -

Development and sales of the "Gyps'in" range of gypsum plasters.

1955 -

Development of the "PLAFONIT" improved binder for interior plasters.

1933 -

Production of "CELLULIT" thermal insulating board from wood fibres and gypsum.

1919 -

Headquarters transferred to Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. Cantillana becomes Belgian importer for "Plâtres Naturels du Bassin Parisien".

1875 -

Incorporation of Cantillana, with a trading outlet in building materials at Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.
